Power Categories Primary - Unlimited. No gliders this year.
Registration fees will be collected at check in. The Registration fee is $350.
Registration fee includes T shirt, breakfast & lunches, one awards banquet ticket.
IAC 38 is sponsoring a special discount of only $50 for first time competitors (Primary or Sportsman) However this entry fee does not include the awards banquet ticket.

Additional tickets are unknown at this time. We have a vary limited number of tickets. if you are wanting more than one, it is worth reaching out to a CD well in advance to get you on the list. Located at the Patriots Jet Team Hangar in Byron, CA
There are few hangars available for overnight parking. Please contact CD to arrange. There are no guarantees hangar space will be available.
Tiedowns frequently have improper length tie down chains. Bring tie down straps. Winds at TCY can be significant.

We never have a shortage of pars at this contest. Finding a ride is often easy. There are often extra cars available. Uber and Lyft serve the Tracy Area.

7:00 PM Registration Closes (Late arrivals must contact CD prior to 7PM)
ALL DAY - Aircraft Arrivals & Practice Flights
Pilots who stay after 7pm to help set up clipboards are provided free beverages & dinner. Many hands make light work!

5:00 PM - Targeted end of Known and Free flights

At the conclusion of all competitors having flown all their flights:

10 AM - Site Clean Up. Volunteers are encouraged to help out Sunday morning for final site cleanup.
ALL DAY - Aircraft Departures

Airworthiness, Registration, Copy of Annual / Condition Inspection, Copy of parachute inspection, IAC card or proof of membership, Pilots License, Medical Certificate, Free Forms, Copy of Liability Insurance (1M), and if you are flying an aircraft not owned by you, and the registered owner will not be present, bring a signed "IAC Official Contest Entry Form" (available here: https://www.iac.org/contest-director-packet )
If you have a free style, then you must bring the following:
Sportsman: 16 A Forms, 32 B Forms, 32 C Forms
Intermediate-Unlimited: 10 A Forms, 16 B Forms, 16 C Forms
Have available for inspection all certificates required for operation of any aircraft (airworthiness, registration, operating limitation, weight and balance) plus aircraft and engine log books, (copies are acceptable) certificates of insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 property damage and $100,000 single limit bodily injury. The parachute repack certification will also be checked. The Tech inspector will use a checklist of items to approve the aircraft for flight at the contest. A list of these items may be found in the IAC Rule Book Chapter 2.3
We have requested that the FAA from the Oakland FSDO visit our contest. They have accepted and will be at the airport for the duration of the contest. It is very likely you will get a "ramp Inspection" upon arrival. A tech inspection and GFAA ramp check are not the same, so sorry if you end up doing this twice! Be prepared. (Make sure you have a compass correction card!)

We are looking for 2 or 3 people to be the announcer for the Airport Day Support on Saturday May 16. Email the CD if you are interested.
Press & Photographers wishing to have ramp access must get approval from the CD beforehand.
Family and friends of competitors and invited guests of IAC38 may observe from the friends and family area. Ramp access only if guided by a registered competitor.
