The third Nor Cal Classic Aerobatic Contest is held at the wonderful Tracy KTCY Airport in Tracy Ca!
Pre-Registration is OPEN for pilots and volunteers.
The box at Tracy is immediately east of the airport. Unfortunately, a number of factors keep it from being marked year round. Markings placed during the contest will be briefed at the safety briefing.
This video by IAC 38 member Shane Short has prepared for the benefit of pilots flying in the box at Tracy.
We are always in need of non flying volunteers. Out non flying volunteers are the most dedicated and valuable resources we have. If you'd like to volunteer in any capacity, email the Contest Director. Volunteers are given a T shirt, lunches the days they volunteer and an awards banquet dinner ticket.
Official contest hotel is:
Holiday Inn Express & Suites
3551 N Tracy Blvd
Tracy, CA
$139/ night "Airport group rate"
Due to the close proximity to a lot of the Nor Cal competitors, there is always plenty of cars and its easy to hitch a ride into town. Often loaner cars are made available. Uber and Lift and other ride share apps serve Tracy. You wont get stranded in Tracy!
Our awards banquet dinner and gala is hosted by The Patriots Jet Team at their hangar at the Byron Airport (C83). 7:00pm Showtime.
